Warwick 25th Anniversary Bass fest Review!

July 1st – 6th

Workshop Tour Nationwide
What a week it was! The tour started in Sydney on July 1st with a mini Expo of the latest products and a busy workshop with Seth Horan. The workshop then hit the road with visits by Seth to Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Brisbane. IN total over 600 Bass Players attended these SOLD out workshops by Seth Horan.

July 7th

Bass Expo Melbourne
Over 130 Warwick basses, every Warwick amp, effects, strings, Rockbags and much more. A highlight of the day was Free workshops presented by James Kempster, Davarj, Seth Horan & Jonas hellborg. Over 600 bass players attended making this an ultimate success. This was truly heaven for any bass player. Other highlights included the Custom Shop Display as well as the LTD display of all LTD Edition Warwick Basses. Also in this area was a complete Historic display with many priceless Warwick basses ranging from a 1984 Streamer to a 2007 Stryker belonging to Grinspoon. There was even a Bass giveaway of A Corvette STD presented BY Hans Peter Wilfer, the Warwick founder & president who visited.

July 8th

The Bass Concert Melbourne
The first ever bass Concert held in Australia. A Sold out audience of 216 people packed the Grant St Theatre at the VCA (Victorian College of the Arts). Live entertainment greeted Guests on Arrival. The Concert featured powerful performances by Bass-ic Instinct (3 bass players and a Drummer), Seth Horan, Dave & Davarj from preshrunk and Jonas Hellborg. A memorable night for all involved.

In total over 1400 bass players Australia wide attended this amazing week Celebrating 25 years for Warwick and a love of all things bass. Special thanks to DOMINANT MUSIC Australia, the Bass Specialists for organising this event
